Gentleman Ed Francis presented an 8 Man Tag Team main event match to top off this week's Big Time Wrestling card at the Civic Auditorium. Curtis Iaukea and Billy White Wolf will lead the rival four-man teams. In the opening match, Johnny Barend took a one fall decision over Eric Frolich. Jim Hady vs Tank Morgan The next match featured Jim Hady against Tank Morgan. After both wrestlers traded falls, Jim Hady use a rollover and press to take the deciding fall from Tank Morgan. Morgan applies the Bear Hug on Hady. Morgan cranks up the pressure of the Bear Hug in hopes of a submission. Tank Morgan catches Hady with a Big Splash. Jim Hady pins Tank Morgan to win the match. Chief Billy White Wolf vs Dutch Schultz Billy White Wolf and Dutch Schultz wrestled to a draw in their featured match. Schultz won the first fall but White Wolf used his Indian Death Lock to square matters. Then time ran out. White Wolf stares down Schultz in the corner. White Wolf keeps working on that leg. White Wolf keeps the pressure on the leg. 8 Man Tag Team Match Joining the 380 pound Curtis Iaukea will be Ripper Collins, Dutch Schultz, and Tank Morgan. Collins and Morgan weigh over 300 pounds, giving their foursome a considerable weight edge. White Wolf's team includes Jim Hady, Lord Blears, and Nick Kozak. They hope to make up for their weight disadvantage with speed and agility. Lord Blears holds Collins in the corner for Hady, White Wolf, and Kozak. White Wolf takes on Curtis Iaukea, Dutch Schultz, and Ripper Collins. Chaos breaks out in the ring a the 2 referees attempt to keep order. The four-man tag team of White Wolf, Hady, Lord Blears, and Nick Kozak defeated Schultz, Morgan, Ripper Collins, and Curtis Iaukea. Schultz pinned Kozak, but Nick retaliated against Collins for the second fall. Then Collins was disqualified by referee Pete Peterson for interfering with the match from outside the ring. Jim Hady tussles with Ripper Collins as all teammates watch. White Wolf about to give Dutch Schultz the Tomahawk chop. Hady pushes through Schultz to tag Nick Kozak as Tank Morgan tries to prevent the tag. Blears and Hady catapult Collins into Tank Morgan as Morgan remains tangled in the ropes. |
