On May 29, 1971, Haystack Calhoun and Bearcat Wright, who between them total over 900 pounds, defeated Maddog Mayne and Ripper Collins in last night's wrestling main event at the Civic Auditorium.
Hawaiian Tag Team Championship Match
With one fall each, Mayne and Collins were disqualified for hitting the referee. Collins and Maddog retained their championship belts because a title can't change hands by disqualification.

In prelim bouts, Bill Robinson took two out of three falls from Angelo Mosca. Also, The Gladiator and The Avenger battled to a draw. Sam Steamboat topped The Skull in two out of three falls and Don Muraco and Rocky Montero went to a draw.
